QUEENSLAND – Esk Garden Fair in its 10th year!

Winter celebration of gardens & community

THE Esk Garden Fair returns this winter with a milestone celebration, marking its 10th year in the heart of Esk. Set for Saturday, June 20, the much-loved community event promises its most vibrant program yet, with expert guest speakers designed to inspire gardeners of all levels.

Kyla Hopkins of Ky & Co will host dried floral workshops, sharing her expertise in everlasting blooms through hands-on sessions, while also offering curated arrangements for sale. Her session times will be posted on the info board.

Visitors can also witness the ancient craft of blacksmithing, as Nick Graham demonstrates how reclaimed metal is transformed into bespoke garden art in a live forge experience running all day.

Sustainability is front and centre with the Searles Coffee Cup Refill initiative, led by Jill Coomb, where guests can recycle used coffee cups and take home a seedling—an eco-friendly keepsake from the fair, running all day or until the plants run out.

Meanwhile, Somerset Floristry will showcase expert floral composition techniques, offering practical care tips alongside a selection of ready-made arrangements.

Beyond the workshops, attendees can explore dozens of specialist nurseries and hobby growers, alongside more than 100 exhibitors featuring garden art, tools and essentials.

Live music, six specialty coffee vans and three large food courts will keep the atmosphere lively, while the event remains proudly dog-friendly.

Gates open at 8:00am, with $5 entry and free admission for children under 16.

Cash-only gates will operate, with an ATM available on site or skip the queue and buy your tickets online
